Each step will represent a celebration of belonging and social participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Atmosphere between art, sports and tradition<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuoro will experience a day of popular festivities: performances of traditional music and dances such as tenor singing, corners on local sports such as rugby and athletics, and narrative paths on the connection between the city and the Winter Games. Not only entertainment: information booths on Milan Cortina 2026, volunteering and sustainability will be set up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The green aspect of the Olympic flashlight<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The \"Essential\" flashlight, symbol of the 2026 edition, combines design and sustainability: made of recycled materials, powered by bio-LPG and rechargeable up to 10 times. The entire route promotes soft mobility, with pedestrian zones and guaranteed accessibility for all spectators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Next steps after Nuoro<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following day, Dec. 14, the torch will continue its journey to Cagliari, passing through Oristano before its final landing in Sardinia. This confirms the presence of the entire journey in the major Italian islands, in a continuity that unites territory, identity and sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Numbers &amp; Trivia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The flashlight route will last 63 days, touch all 20 Italian regions and cover about 12,000 km, involving more than 10,000 torchbearers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nuoro represents the eighth official stop, after Livorno and before Cagliari.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The relay emphasizes the importance of combining local identity and Olympic values, giving centrality to less obvious regions as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>December 13, 2025<\/strong>, Nuoro will not only be a stop on the map of the flame: it will be the voice of Sardinia speaking to the entire country. In each stretch traversed by the torchbearers, history, culture and a desire for the future coexist.
