The city is thus preparing to become a symbol of the meeting between past and future, with sport becoming an engine of social cohesion and enhancement of the territory.

During this stage, the flashlight will be carried by 10 torchbearers:
- Representatives of the Municipality of Viterbo and local associational realities
- Selected volunteers
- A young up-and-coming athlete symbolizes the viterbese sports future

Values on fire: sustainability and inclusion
In keeping with tradition, the torch uses a sustainable flashlight, designed to be rechargeable up to ten times, built with recycled materials and powered at bio-LPG.
Viterbo thus reaffirms its commitment to an event model eco-responsible, aligned with the principles of Milan Cortina 2026.
The December 7 in Viterbo will not just be a passing of the flashlight, but the concrete beginning of a collective narrative between history, community and sports. In a path designed to link each city to the Olympic symbol, Viterbo takes its own page of history, becoming a place where the Olympic fire not only lights the flashlight, but also the pride and participation of an entire community.
