Milan Cortina 2026 Olympics: roads closed in Milan for inauguration and changes to road system

These closures result in bans on parking and pedestrian access in some sections, with exceptions for authorized vehicles only.

Special bans and extraordinary measures

To facilitate mobility during the days of the Games, the municipality has introduced some special measures that change the use of entire road lanes:

  • Ban on motorcycles, scooters and bicycles in the fast lane 90-91 (between Serra Avenue and Piazzale Lodi) from the Feb. 2 to March 18, to reduce congestion and redirect traffic flows.
